short version of what I am looking to do is assign a feature code that is 2 digits to PiAF so that I can transfer back into a onsite phone. however for some reason the touch tones on the cell phone (AT&T service) only seems to only like when I have it set to a single digit.

in my trunk settings I have

dtmfmode=inband

what else would be suggested to try?

Thanks,
Nathan

Good luck with that...

at&t wireless is gsm based, which is a low bandwidth codec. You'll have a tough time getting a two digit code to work because of the delay between the digits being sent by the cellular network. Asterisk expects the two digits to come with almost no delay between them. Short of finding the timing parameters buried deep in the core of Asterisk, I'm not sure what you can do. :banghead:

I have kept my transfer code at # to insure remote users can transfer regardless of the carrier they are using.
