translating asterisk trunk settings to freepbx

i would like to setup my PIAF box to use these trunk settings. But am not able to do it right.

can somebody help!

Why don't you set up this same information in FreePBX? That might solve the issue.

but it does not work.

this is what asterisk -r ultimately shows once the call is transferred to this trunk.

We'd need to check in a little more detail using such tools as sip debug and the full log, but the first thing that springs to my mind to ask is, do you have g729 codec licenses installed on your machine?

Put something like this in the trunk settings.

Trunk name - michofr

type=friend
username=local username
secret=******
nat=yes
dtmfmode=RFC2833
host=ata.nymgo.com


In the register string at the bottom, something like:

Nymgo_username:[email protected]/nymgo_username

I got the nymgo working with my sunrocket innomedia ATA. The registration always failed, but it works when I call a number. I tried the suggested settings in my asterisk box (I only used alaw and ulaw codecs). It fails with the same error message as the original poster. I did some sip debug, and it prints '404 server not found' or something like that. Did anyone successfully use nymgo trunk with asterisk/freepbx?
