Trunk(s) won't register.

I just moved from trixbox (asterisk 1.4) to PiaF (asterisk 1.6)

2 of my 8 trunks no longer register, voipcheap and voipuser. They show as 120 Request Sent even though I copy and pasted the info from one box to the other. I can enable the trunk in trixbox and it registers fine, same info in piaf doesn't work, other similar trunks are fine.

Any ideas, has there been any changes in 1.6 like the insecure=very/port, invite or does piaf just have it in for trunks with voip in the name ?

I changed the trunk settings, replacing voipusers domain name with their IP addy and it registered, then I noticed the voipuser dashboard saying I was registered as

asterisk at 127.0.0.1

so it seems to be a issue with my nat settings, previously I would have put something like this

externhost=mydomain.dyndns.org
externrefresh=120
localnet=192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0
nat=yes

in sip_nat.conf or sip_general_custom.conf

isn't the new asterisk sip settings module supposed to take care of all that now or have I missed a step somewhere ?

Was the register string, changed from

username:[email protected]

to

username:password@[I][B]sip[/B][/I].voipuser.org

and alls good, strange its been ok in the past.
