I've spent way more than an hour trying to get PBX in a Flash up and running after formating my trixbox. I am on the latest release or PBX but I can't for the life of me get my x100p card to work. I can't figure out if its the card or the software. I have gone back to all the default settings like dialing 9 for an outbound trunk. When I try to make a call I get "All circuits are busy"

my /etc/zaptel.conf file contains:

fxsks=1
loadzone =us
defaultzone =us

my /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf contains
channel=>1
context=from-zaptel
singalling=fxs_ks

Is there something else that I am missing? This is driving me crazy.. I had my old trixbox up and running but I can't for the life of me figure out where I'm going wrong.

Have you run genzaptelconf? Have you made sure the drivers are loaded for the card? Can we have a copy of the log when you make a call?

When I run genzatelconf it seems to go through all the steps but I do notice that it says "No such command 'zap show channels'

I can't figure out how to view the logs. What do I type to see the log file?

The error when running genzaptelconf is a big clue that something isn't right. Consider running the update-scripts and update-fixes commands to ensure that everything is in fact up-to-date.

As far as capturing log file information, here's one (of many) way:

Before placing the call, type this command while logged in to your PBXinaFlash machine as the root user:

tail -f /var/log/asterisk/full > logcapture.txt

place a call, hang up when you get the error message

then type control-c

The captured log will be in the file logcapture.txt

copy the contents over and post it (but if there are any passwords, real phone numbers, or other confidential information, XXXX them out) here so we can help you find the problem.
