Hi All

We have found a few permission errors that creep into a system for various reasons. I have released this version that will always correct these minor errors. It is recommended that everytime you install either Ward's or my programs you run this afterwards. Future releases of the scripts will automatically call the update-fixes program.

How do I patch PIAF?

1. Log into the CLI as user root
2. Type update-scripts and then tap the ENTER key
3. When this has completed, type update-fixes and then tap the ENTER key
4. You will be presented with a complete log of things and a copy will be emailed to user root on your piaf box.

NOTE If you type update-scripts and get a "command not found" then you may be running an earlier version of PIAF. You will need to install the update-scripts program. Follow the directions on the page below

After this update, my nv-weather-zip stopped working with Allison. Solved it while writing this message.

On my system, the swift program was linked to /usr/local/bin/swift, but I guess that is not in the search path. I had to add a link at /usr/bin/swift for it to start working again. The flite engine was not affected, but it is already in /usr/bin. Don't understand why the update caused this to happen, though.

Just a heads up.

Be sure to perform amportal restart after loading the fix.
