Upgrade Advice PIAF 1.1 to 1.3

I am going to bite the bullet this weekend and upgrade my office system from 1.1 to 1.3. My 1.1 system was installed and my Trixbox/Freepbx backup was restored and everything worked great. I am tempted to do the same backup and restore on 1.3 but am concerned that some of my configuration will get lost or that some of the old TB stuff will cause problems in 1.3. I can recreate the system in a few hours but wondered if anyone had done this and has any sage advice!

What is it you're expecting or looking to benefit from the upgrade? If all is well w/ your PiaF 1.1 box, I see no reason to go through the trouble.

Be sure the FreePBX versions match on both machines AND... take good notes.

That's how I went from 1.1 to 1.2. The biggest issue you're going to encounter is with the add-ons. You may want to install them first before you restore via freePBX or you might have some freePBX settings pointing to missing modules (ultimate cname, asteridex, etc) on the new install. Not a big deal though, and you can certainly install/re-install add-ons post restore.

I am going to upgrade as the newer add-ons and scripts seem to be written for the newer versions and I can't seem to run upgrade sources or scripts and get it to work. Plus I am going to help a friend with an Orgasmatron and wanted to do the 1.3 install first.
