Hello all,
I think this is a simple question - I've been doing some initial testing of PBIAF (actually the Nerdvittles variety). I've got a queue set up with a single static agent (extension 710) as a destination for inbound calls on the any DID/any CID route. The queue is configured to allow callers even when there are no agents. I've been testing by dialing 7777 from another extension (701), and things were working just fine (note: my testing has been without x710 logged in, so I get MOH with periodic messages "you are first in line, etc" when I test).
Now the problem: I was playing about with the operator flash panel, not really knowing what I was doing. Now, when I dial 7777 from x701, I immediately get the MOH for the queue (no "thank you for calling"), plus my extension also rings an incoming call. If I answer the call, the MOH is playing on that call; if I reject the call, my extension will ring again in a few seconds. The caller ID on the incoming call is 701:701. An update - this also happens when I call into the PBX via a SIP DID that I am testing - x701 rings with the caller ID showing the caller ID of the external caller. I've tried logging out from the queue from x701, but that didn't change anything.
When I look at the operator flash panel, x701 is showing a yellowish circle next to the green arrow, as opposed to a green circle for all of the other extensions.
I've tried everything I can think of, but no idea how to undo whatever I did. I guess since this is a test system at the moment, I could just reinstall from scratch, but that wouldn't teach me anything.
Thanks for any assistance.
