hello I was wondering if any one has used the ksauto installation method on pbx in a flash on virtual machine? I am using vmware fusion on macintosh. I am also visually impaired and am unable to see the screen so am wanting to use the ksauto installation method has any one gotten this to work? if so what did you do? Hank

Hi

We wrote this option for the visually impaired, and I made a test installation the other day on real hardware, and it worked perfectly.

I've never used VMFusion, or a Mac, so without some output, it will be difficult to know what has gone wrong.

Hi

Put the CD in, and when it boots, type ksauto - given that you will not have any software that tells you when it has booted to the CD, wait about one minute maximum.

Then type ksauto, and press enter. At the end of the install of the OS, the CD will eject, grab it, then go and have coffee.

When you come back, the PBX should be installed, and the root password will be passworm
