Looks like they are down, and website won't load for me.

Anyone else?

Me too... Fortunately our other office that has them is ringing through (different inbound server) and our failover rings to them so it is sorta working out.

Can't get through to their website either.

SO... it was an 11 minute outage. Come on. We have that almost daily with Comcast.

LOL. It didn't affect me but I did affect several of my cheaper clients. Ironically, the first customer that noticed was using Vitelity over Comcast. Talk about the double whammy!

my Synagogue had it too more calls dropping or breaking up and one call didnt terminate. And they're on comcast as well.

I did notice traces n comcast vs. ptd.net (my home carrier) were slower on comcast and also comcast had a long outage the other morning as well.

I'm adding voip.ms as an alt. carrier for another DID and will default outbound going there instead of vitelity. Not using google voice there at this time. I like the fact with voip.ms they list all their servers.

Sorry if my question comes a bit late to this thread, but...
I just signed up for Vitelity's service from the link on the nerdvittles.com home page...
Comcast is my ISP...
Are there issues with Comcast (besides limited tech support) that I should be aware and lookout for?
Anything special about Vitelity? Is there a quick reference guide on the forum for setting up Vitelity?
I have Google Voice running okay, I just want to use Vitelity as a backup for my incoming calls.
Thanks guys!

We have Comcast business and it has been rock solid for the most part. Whenever we have an issue, the business tech support people I speak with are just a few hundred miles away (Seattle and I'm in Spokane). They are quick to respond if there is a line issue and I even have the local supervisor on my cell phone speed dial.

We have Vitelity for incoming and as a backup for outgoing.
We have Flowroute for outgoing.

Both have their quirks but have been reasonably solid for our office (~10k minute usage a month and anywhere from 0-8 channel usage simultaneously).

This latest outage with Vitelity (their underlying carry) is the worst so far as it doesn't allow a failover route to work.

Both Vitelity and Flowroute have been quick to respond to trouble tickets and extremely helpful (they want to help vs being a pain in their side).

Not vitelity's fault

XO was down today and has been the problem for most of these past outages. We have some DIDs on XO and some on other providers. We were affected by all carriers using XO today. Someone at Vitelity today hinted that they were dropping XO becasue of it. I am trying to get all DIDs at each carrier ported off XO.
