Vitelity: IP addressing or account based?

Aside from the obviously-more-secure method of locking to IP only....


Is one easier than the other? Any other factors one should consider?

Note that you may have two IPs in use. Other than that, I'd have to say security, security, security. It's your wallet.

I talked to Vitelity's tech support on this about a year ago.

They strongly recommended IP based, and said they only supported multiple channels with IP addressing based setups.

Also, I find that with account based authentication that you will get failed calls. This is nearly eliminated with ip based authentication.

Also, props to Vitelity, they have stepped up their game with better support staff.
