VM install with TDM card

Proxmox seems to be a popular host for VM installs. Is it possible, and does anyone have experience, with doing this and using a TDM FXS/FXO card.

I can find many references to installing DAHDI / ZAPTEL directly on the host but no references to using telephony hardware.
