Trying to figure out how to turn off "no-intro" for voicemail. It at one time was under the General Tab but is no longer - can't see it in the Advanced Tab or Voicemail Admin. Where did she go?

Are your referring to the 'Do Not Play "please leave message after tone" to caller" option that is in General Settings on FreePBX 2.9? (I am on 2.9 still but may go to green soon) or are you referring to a 'destination setting of "Voicemail <ext#> (No-msg)" ' which you can find in IVR's and also in the optional destinations for the Busy, Unavailable, and Unreachable settings on each extension.

for the latter in a dialplan conf files or if you use bulk extensions you can use ext-local,vms<EXT#>,1

Hope this helps you find what you are looking for. I am not sure if having No-Message for a voicemail caller is a good thing however.

Yes, that's it. I can't find it. As a temporary work around I moved vm-intro.ulaw to vm-intro.ulawOLD and copied from the Silence directory 2.ulaw as vm-intro.ulaw.

Also missing is the Application Language, that allows you to set a language on an extension. Looking for that too...

Description for version 2.11.0.0

Adds the ability to changes the language within a call flow and add language attribute to users.

Your Original requested setting is found at : Voicemail/Do not play "..." to caller -> Voicemail Admin/Dialplan Behavior from this post on the freepbx.org site

Your second request ?the language module on 2.9 as Internal Options & configurations > Languages (it's not for extensions but for call flow as in Press 2 for french 3 for spanish etc in which then you point the destination of the language to the appropriate IVR with that language.

See if you have FreePBX Asterisk SIP Settings | Advanced General Settings | Language in your menus.

looks like you found the languages once as your post in this thread shows

Hope you find the language solutions as I do not have 2.11 yet but 'google' is my friend.

Found the Languages Module (allows extension language setting) on the FTP site; languages-2.11.latest. Loaded that puppy in and all is well. What I found odd is it did not load with the normal PIAF Green edition. Language crisis averted.

As for my temporary fix for "please leave message after tone" to caller; it will do. I'm in the midst of creating a new box to temporarily house my production box while it gets upgraded too.

Thanks.

Here's how to eliminate the "please leave message after tone" : Voicemail Admin --> Check Disable Standard Prompts.

For those of you who need to change the default language code, after the extension has been created, go to Voicemail Admin --> Click on the Extension --> then click on Advanced Settings and set the Language Code. (It's no longer offered at the extension setting.)
