Voicemail on Palm

Anybody know how I can access my voicemail on my palm centro smartphone?

It wont work with the iPhone plugin. Or at least the palm's web browser wont work. It also would not work with the ARI interface. It wont play vm files.

I know I can dial into my voicemail system, but I would nice to listen to vmail over the internet.


Any ideas?

One inexpensive (but not free) way would be to use Articulation, a Palm SIP client. Provided you have decent bandwidth it works pretty well. I have a Palm-based Treo and use it over Verizon's data network. This not only gives you access to voicemail, but a fully functional extension. There are even third-party microphones for the Palm TX models, although I can't vouch for any particular one.

Have your voice mail messages sent to a gmail account, then use the gmail client for the iphone.

if centro is like the treo, then you can have PiaF email the voicemail as an attachment, BUT, it's not easy to make it play in the sound player, the default player doesn't recognize the file. you'll also need to change the default email format from wav49 to wav otherwise the player won't play the file.
