Let me start by saying that I am setting up a new installation for the first time.
I have successfully installed and configured the box and was able to set up both SIP and AIX2 calls both behind the firewall and outside it.
One strange thing point. I use no-ip.com for DDNS and have a windows service behind the firewall that updates the IP every 5 minutes.
Following the advice in a NerdVittles article I attempted to set my sip_custom.conf to externhost=myhost.myvnc.com
This worked, but in this setup remote SIP clients could register their extensions, but nothing was heard on any phone calls. AIX had no problem. And when I switched the externhost to externip and used my current IP, all the SIP clients worked beautifully.
I mentioned this only because it might be relevant. Before I switched the externhost, I tested voicemail to email and it worked great.
I had updated the /etc/hosts and /etc/asterisk/vm_general.inc as instructed.
As you can see, the email made it successfully to my account.

Now, I am not sure if it is related, but I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction to figure out how to get this email problem licked.
I don't believe I have my ISP blocks downstream SMTP mail servers as it worked yesterday.
Thanks
Kuty
