Well, we barely beat :santab:. But PIAF Dev. Corp. is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the VPN in a Flash Mobile Telephony Appliance. The units are built-to-order and hands-down provide the most sophisticated and feature-rich telephony platform on the planet. Don't be fooled by the diminutive size.

There are so many new bells and whistles that it's difficult to know where to start, but here are a few features to whet your appetite:
  1. Intel Atom high-performance motherboard
  2. State-of-the-art Linux platform (less than 1 week old!)
  3. KDE graphical user interface
  4. Wired and wireless network support
  5. Automated full-system backups to either ISO images or bootable USB flash drives
  6. Plug-and-play telephony with preconfigured softphone
  7. Plug-and-play VPN with encrypted communications to as many as 16 servers or desktop PCs
  8. One year limited warranty from the manufacturer
  9. 90-days free SUSHI and Help Desk support
And, of course, the Nerd Vittles Orgasmatron II feature set is included.

We promised a system at the $499 price point, and we will hold that price for the first 100 units + shipping and handling to PayPal-confirmed, US-48 addresses only. Shipment will be made within 10 business days of order placement.

Thank you for the most encouraging response!! Feel free to drop us a note if you want to be notified when we have machines available again. Shouldn't be very long. Sorry.

Any plans on releasing VPN-in-a-Flash as an .ISO image? Because, I can get the Aspire One netbook from newegg for under $350. And, since you guys are apparently still sold out, if I want one, I'll have to get it in pieces.

Actually, we're working on one now. But it's CentOS-based, not FC10. We had to wait on PIAF 1.4. :wink5:
