Web GUI loads very slowly

Symptom: The PBIAF web GUI is very slow to load. On my system, it takes about two minutes.


Workaround: Open the PBIAF web GUI, select "Admin" mode, click "Menu Config" and delete the contents of the "RSS URL" field.



I have no idea why having the RSS URL field defined slows down the web GUI so much. It's not a DNS issue as my system has no problem resolving URLs including "http://pbxinaflash.com/rssfeed.xml".

That is a DNS error. Check your DNS settings.
Edit: Hmm...now I see your last sentence....DNS is usually the problem, try changing the RSS feed and testing it.
