The SoundPoint IP 601 has been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase. Support for the product will be available until 03/31/2013. The SoundPoint IP 601 has been replaced by the SoundPoint IP 650.

The 650 has a backlit screen, supports EHS for use with headsets, and is HD ready. Those are the differences that come to mind. The 601 is a nice phone, too.
