So it seems as though I am having voicemail issue running my current version of PBX In A flash.
Info :
PBX In A Flash ver: 1.7.5.5
FreePBX : 2.8.1.3
Asterisk: 1.8.1.1
CentOS : 5.5
Kernel: 2.6.18-194.26.1.e15 - 32bit
Now a little about my "voicemail setup"
I have the default IVR as of right now going to a ring group with a bunch of extensions. only 1 of those extensions has voicemail enabled. This extension has the email to forward setup to send to my youmail dropbox.
the ring group then fails over to a queue.
my queue then goes to those same extensions along with my cell phone.
my cell phone has you mail setup on it.
I do not have confirm calls enabled.
If i miss the call on my cell it is not going to my you mail voicemail. Should it?
I can manually send people to it however.
I guess my question or concern is as an example if i am in a meeting or what not and miss the calls on my cell people are just "stuck" in the queue and never get a prompt to leave a voicemail. which can obviously be bad as then I have to check the logs and call customers back. not good.
So what should I be doing differently?
I am at some point when I get some time planning on recording a break out menu. but that brings up another question. if they choose the breakout queue and then decide not to leave a message. and they get put back in the queue. are they in the same position?
