Where does the new voice mail count get stored?

Where does freepbx keep the voicemail count?

Is there a place that the amount of new voicemails per user is stored?

I know that it is moved to a different folder when it is read, but does the flashpanel or freepbx query the folder to see, or is it stored in a sql table as well?

I believe it's in the asterisk Database.
