Hi, I received a Yealink AX83H recently but I’m struggling with default password. user/user works but admin/admin does not. This was new out of the box and I also factory reset. I have tried Admin/Admin, admin/Admin. Admin/admin, admin/mac address, admin/serial number. I have successfully entered many Yealink phones and scoured the internet but not having much luck. Any other ideas?

Have you tried username admin and a blank password? If none of these above are working, it probably is reconditioned or returned after use or has firmware for a specific provider. Also, when you did the factory reset, did you hold the OK button for about 10 seconds and then select OK when it asked to reset to factory settings?

If the phone was intended for a provider like Vonage, Ring Central, Zoom, etc., you might not be able to reset it at all because of the specialized firmware. My advice would be to return the phone and ask for a replacement or your money back.
 
I have several "older" Yealink phones. The default userid and password on these phones is admin:admin - both all lower case. Maybe for newer Yealink phones, as well?

Based on conversations with various component suppliers, my understanding is that lots of white/private label China originated telephone/communication hardware (including Yealink phones) are being repackaged by their respective manufacturers in a hurry, probably because of rolling order cancellations due to the global business environment and/or security concerns/innuendos.
In my experience, when that happens not only you may have firmware version/compatibility issues but even firmware hardware revision issues with the bastardized "new" products. Sometimes a white label main board can't be turned into a generic one because certain chips (integrated circuits) are missing or are different (for the same major hardware ID).
When that happens the most obvious sign is the most immediate issue, like you can't login because no default credentials work, no reset method works properly.
