In the process of migrating my old native piaf to a 17552 bronze, I noticed that you install the rpmforge repo. Here is the suggestion (it's actually according to the best practices recommendations): if you configure any but the standard CentOS repos, you really should install the yum-priorities package and edit the various repos to protect CentOS packages from matching packages in the rpmforge repos. Yes, I know Tom and Ward don't recommend using yum to update the system, but if you are going to set things up this way, it's a good idea not to leave a cocked and loaded gun.
