Description of Problem: Just ported our business lines to VOIP provider and having an immediate problem with call flow :helpsmilie:. Outside calls to some extensions including 701 (our receptionist) and 702 are alerting to all other callers - it alerts and shows an internal call from their extension on other extension handsets for the duration of the ring on the dialed extension's handset.

Contextual information: We are using only Polycom VVX600s. Findme/follow me is disabled for all users including receptionist. Calls from outside directly to extension trigger this unexpected behavior whether extension is directly dialed at IVR, or as a part of a ringgroup. I have reviewed her polycom config and compared with other's extensions without this behavior and found no discrepancies between them (except for these lines: device.prov.serverName.set="1" device.prov.ztpEnabled="0" device.prov.ztpEnabled.set="1" device.set="1" )
I find nothing unusual in .conf files: Pastebin of extensions_custom.conf, sip_additional.conf. Asterisk Log: here. Call log of dial from outside, direct dial of extension from IVR, and call from ext 701 to all extensions:

Thank you in advance for your time in considering my problem!

So this probably has something to do with the BLF configuration on your phone - the call is only ringing 701, but it is sending busy lamp field updates to all the ohter extensions, which probably ring rather than just indicating it's ringing. Figure out how to turn off ringing for BLF indicators . . .

Thank you @atsak !!! You got it in one. For any intrepid googlers out there I leave the following:

When you use BLF keys to monitor an "attended"line on Polycom phones, when the monitored phone rings it will send notifications to your phone which will pop up. Polycom documentation "static-blf-tb62475.pdf" addresses this and indicates that you need to include attendant.behaviors.display.spontaneousCallAppearances.normal="0" in your polycom phone configuration to mute these spontaneous alerts. Voila.
