I’ve recently been working with a client that has an XBlue QB system with IP9g phones. They’ve had complaints that caller ID rarely works anymore along with other features, but their biggest complaint is an issue with call forwarding. It will forward the call only about 25% of the time (no issues with any other outbound or inbound calling). I didn’t install the system but Xblue says it’s configured correctly for call forwarding. I noticed that there are 3 POTS lines into the server but there are 4 FXO configured in the server and they are all in use for outbound routes.
Curious if anyone thinks that 4th line is what’s creating the issues? If it is rolling over to that line to try and forward the call , it would disconnect since there’s no POtS lines there?
