I have rec'd several dozen calls on my hosted PiaF system since bringing it up late Nov.
In the calling reports from FreePBX, the source is listed as Asterisk, the Caller ID as "asterisk" <asterisk>, destination is 's', Disposition is 'Answered', and the duration is usually 13 seconds.
The source IP address appear to be mainly from Asia.
I have 4 DIDs all pointing to extensions on the system. Allow Anonymous Inbound SIP Calls is set to no.
I believe there was a similar post in the past on the best way to block such calls but I can't find it. I believe the approach was to set a default route (that doesn't match valid DIDs) to "hang-up".
Any suggestions?
