I'll try this on my new Acer Revo unless you know of any immediate limitations. Will it allow me to load Asterisk 1.6.2.7?

It's running on one of mine. Don't know why any version of Asterisk would be a problem. Let me know if it smokes.

Got it working on my Revo. Going to move some of the production configurations over to it and see if I can use it for production today.

Are there any known issues with this release yet?

No Problems So Far

I've loaded this on my Dell SC420 Celeron test system and it works fine. I also loaded it on an Acer Revo and got it going as well. Preliminary tests show there to be no issues on either system.

It's been working wonderfully for the past two days day (even when Vitelity went down - it's an XO issue, not Vitelity). Just another reason for multiple providers

What version of PHP does this distro come with?

CentOS 5.5 comes with php-5.1.6-27. More info on further upgrades here.

Downloaded a 5.5 here as well, Hardware is a Dell Poweredge 840 that had a bad drive, so as long as I am rebuilding it I wanted to go current.

Did see a few messages fly by that I need to look at latter but 1.6 Sataraid seems to be a solid install.

PS: Thanks for staying with the older FreePBX release. 2.5.2.3 Makes migrating older boxes much easier.

FreePBX 2.5 will be replaced by 2.6 in the "official" PIAF builds. But this experimental one will still be around.

Has Anyone Got Sendmail Working with Centos 5.5?

I loaded a new Revo with this load and everything is pretty good except I can't get it to send me an email anymore. I went through the whole modification for Comcast port 587 as previously discussed but something seems to be different with this version?

Any pointers? I have tried the gmail route as well but it also will not work.

Nothing has changed. Usual setup with Gmail should work fine. Don't forget the quotes.

I'm wondering if Sendmail is changed in Centos 5.5. I simply cannot get email notifications to work with Gmail or Comcast. I've started with a fresh install. Even removed sendmail and sendmail-cf and reinstalled but I keep getting a reject. Its been so long since I had to deal with this that I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what's wrong. ....And YES I have the quotes.

Shouldn't this be 5.5 ??? or is there a reason to stick with 5.1 repositories ???
