I don't have the equipment to test this at the moment, so I thought I would post this to get a jump start on the configuation.
This scenario is a temp solution until the carrier-class (Nortel CS1500) switch is installed.
What I need to do is to build an interface between the PSTN and a MTA VoIP device. The DialTones will be coming in on seperate physicals pairs and will need to terminate onto their specific MTAs.
PSTN---fx0 (port1) ---->MTA#1 (123)555-1234
fx1 (port2)----->MTA#2 (123)555-7845
I figure I'm going to need to build an inbound and outbound route for MTA and physical inbound port.
Like I said before... It's a temp solution and the idea is to terminate about 24-48 subscibers total. By that time, the DMS10 Switch upgrade should be complete.
Thanks in advance....
Barry
