Config:

PBX in a flash purple (fresh install 12-17-10) with all the latest google fixes, etc. Followed this:
http://nerdvittles.com/?p=712

DID's etc:
One single google voice account
One single PSTN (AT&T) basic phone service (No LD service)

Hardware:
One Aastra 6739i
One Linksys SPA-3102
Analog phones elsewhere in the house (connected to PSTN)

Request for help:

I recently got inbound and outbound analog calls working via the SPA3102 (with a lot of help here on this forum!)

google calls inbound/outbound go to/from extension 701 and no changes in IVR, etc from the default out of the box setup except for defining a new ring group 779 for "office phones". This is currently working and routes to the default IVR, etc with VM that I have recorded for busy/unavailable, etc.

AT&T calls (analog in/out) are working via the SPA3102 as expected and go to ring group 780 "home lines" > extension 2000, however when a caller calls the DID (AT&T) it rings the extension correctly but never gives a VM prompt (if no answer). It just rings and rings. I would like a seperate IVR for the home lines and have set one up and have tried to change options, etc, but cant figure out how to route to this..

Thanks in advance!

What is "Destination if no answer" set to for Ring Group 780?

And just a personal thing - you might consider using different ranges for ring groups vs extensions. Just helps keep things cleaner (at least to me). I see you 'mixing' extension 701 with 2000, etc.

Good idea on the ranges, I will change that. 780 is set for VM of 2000 if no answer (unavail)

What happens if you dial *2000 from ext 701? It should go to the voicemail of ext 2000. If it does not, perhaps it isn't setup properly.

Dialing from 701 > 2000 (After ringing) will go to the default VM "the person at extension 2000 is busy, please leave VM, etc"

When ringing through from PSTN(AT&T) to 2000, which from the other thread is for the FXS port of the PSA3102, is the call actually being routed to Asterisk and back to the SPA3102 or is it being bridged directly from FXO to FXS?

Look at the Asterisk logs and make sure the call is passing through Asterisk. If not, look at your SPA3102 call routing.

OK, I see the problem but not sure where to fix? Looking at the call log it shows the call comes in fine but after ringing it then routes the call back out Gvoice. So somehow it is routing back out instead of going to VM.

more info. Under the SPA3102 config > PSTN tab > Dial Plans > Tab 2 I had this "S0(<:xxxxxxxxxx>)" my actual AT&T DID and not the xxx's. I If have that there a call will come in but it will route back out gvoice, if I remove it and replace with the default (xx.) it will still ring in but goes to a dial tone instead of VM..so I still have some issues with my SPA3102 config :banghead:

I have success! reconfiged my SPA3102 (i had a couple entries that were not documented and si I just started playing with them) changed lots of things, but dont know for sure which actually fixed it..

HOWEVER..now I still have a IVR routing issue. The call comes in fine but defaults to my office phone VM. I see in the logs that it defaults to ring all. Dont understand why yet.

ok..I am talking to myself here. But I see where the problem is..there is a ANY/DID route in the incoming routes it is hitting that route and ends up in my office phone. I have tried some things, but dont want to mess my office line up..si I need some advice on how to route appropriate for both home phones and office lines

Watch the console output. It will tell you what you need to do ... something to the effect of "Incoming call with DID XXXXXXXXXXX, you probably want a route for this". Or something like that.

Of course, if it's coming off the 3102, that might look different (the incoming DID). This might be what's tripping you up.

Can you capture an incoming call on the 3102's POTS line from the CLI?

Yep that fixed it! watched the CLI and saw the message you were mentioning "...you prob want a DID.." created an inbound route and it works! I thought I did that already..but have been having so many issues that I am trying to solve that I must have deleted it. Thank you!
