1. ISO installs the latest kernel as of yesterday.

That is it. The new downloader program is written differently and now displays purple as a full build install. Documents to follow

I cannot download the .pdf file for installing the new IncrediblePBX 1.7.5.5.3. The error message I get seems to indicate that the file doesn't exist.

Can anyone else get it?

Me neither. You are right. I get the following from adobe reader:
Acrobat could not open 'InstallPBXInAFlash.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
Can anyone else concur ?

Clear your browser cache and try again. Or try the alternate .com site.

I had this problem the day it was released by yesterday it worked fine for me....Try a "save as" instead of opening in your browser.

Sorry. It's DreamHost's crappy caching software which doesn't work worth a damn. Try again. We've remapped it to pbxinaflash.com which works just fine.

trying to run 64 bit version

I am getting an error about my Internet connection.

Internet is fine and I can see the traffic leaving my firewall..

I try to re-run piafdl, and I get the same message.

Looking at firewall logs I see a ping to

IAD04S01-IN-F103.1E100.NET

and an HTTP request to
HOD.OMNIS.COM

and that's it...

I did a wget from the box to check connectivity and it seems fine..


any suggestions?


Can't seem to get the purple install to download, I am using the 64 bit version and installing on Vmware ESI 3.5. Already running PBiaf 1.4 fine in same environment and it works great.

Thought it might be time to upgrade as current install has been going for 2-3 years!

I tried to install this today ( 64bit ) chose the purple install and the download failed even though the network is fine. Running this in a vbox machine.

It looks like most of the time the wget fails,BUT it does seem to suceed once i awhile. I am not sure yet, whay happened then, still looking....
