I am currently using Trixbox 2.8.0.4 and have been trying to switch over to PIAF for some tme now. Have never been able to get PIAF actually working..
I am using the latest verison, Purple Edition which includes Asterisk 1.8. Everything installs perfectly, my ATA (Sipura) connects to PIAF, can make internal calls but I cannot for the life of me get VOIPStreet trunk to work!
I set the trunk up, add inbound and outbound routes and when I go to Tools/Asterisk Info/SIP Info, it shows the trunk as being "registered" but calls are not even hitting PIAF.
With Tribox, as long as the trunk is set up correctly, if something is wrong with the Inbound Route, you will hear the Asterisk recording saying the line is not in service. I currently have a "fail safe" number programmed on my VOIPStreet Trunk where is the service is down, it transfer over to my cell. phone. When I call my Voipstreet Trunk form a POTS landline phone, the call transfers over to my cell phone, thus not even hitting PIAF.
I have a gut feeling it is something to do with the dial pattern in PIAF. The new Dial Pattern fill in boxes in FreePBX are new to me as Trixbox simply uses freeform text. I normally use: 1+NXXNXXXXXX as my dial plan in the trunk settings but not sure how to format this into the Dial Plan boxes on FreePBX.

Any thoughts on this? I am dying to get PIAF working!
