I have setup PIAF on Raspberry Pi on external USB hard drive running 3 extensions.
Everything works no problem, except that any phone that calls the PBX is not presented with a conventional ringtone, like the type we've experienced for the last 100 years, but instead produces a very loud musical ringtone on the calling phone.
It is the type of ringtone that you would expect the called phone on PBX to be making not the phone initiating the call.
This ringtone is not heard with outgoing calls from the PBX. The ringtone in this case is the standard conventional ringtone.
My system has 2 trunks and 2 DID. Makes no difference which number is used incoming, the ringtone is still the same.
I would appreciate it if anyone could give me a clue as to where this incoming ringtone may be being generated so I can try and get the system back to a conventional ringtone.
