SIP Trunk Outbound - PSTN Answer Detection

Hello!
I am using a Vonage SoftPhone as one of my outbound trunks, but it isn't working. I can call in, but it just rings no matter what the server thinks its doing, and I can call out but it never connects to the vonage server and falls through to my other trunk after about 10 seconds of nothingness.
I posted before about something similar to this, and I was told to disable fax detection - I did, but that did not help.

I also have another issue. I am using the NV Reminders software to call PSTN phones (Private use) using my outbound PSTN trunk since the Vonage isn't working. The message automatically plays when the calls is connected, not when it is actually answered. The phone doesn't even ring before the message is over (depending on length) What can I do to resolve these two issues?

Logs were too long to post here so they are attached.
 
Scratch the Vonage question. I am now happily enjoying my account with VoIP.ms that I set up while wondering how to fix this issue. I have canceled my softphone. I still need to know, though, how to get the PSTN answer detection working correctly, just in case.

Did there ever get an answer to this question?

I too am having the same issue. how to get the reminder to wait until it gets an answer on the other side before it plays the message.
