Another day, another question...
I understand the Grandstream GXP-2000s have full-duplex speakerphones (http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/GXP-2000).
For some reason, I'm not "getting" full-duplex on my calls.
Example: I make an internal call from one 2000 to another. If both handsets are used, it's full-duplex -- no cutting out, even if both people are talking. However, if either side is using the speakerphone, the phones try to decide which one is talking and silence the other person.
Wouldn't full-duplex mean that this would not happen??
I'm using PIAF Purple -- FreePBX 2.9.07, Asterisk 1.8.7.1, CentOS 5.7 Final.
