Ok, so I'm clearly new here and pretty new to Asterisk. I've spent a good deal of time over the last 3 weeks familiarizing myself with the installation and configuration of the system and I'd say I'm pretty far along at this point. I have inbound calling via Motif and Google Voice directed to my extension as desired. What I need now is to be able to dial out from that same extension through the same GV trunk.
I have spent hours and hours searching through the web and the forums. It's not (thankfully) that there is no documentation: it's that there is so much to look through and so many variations. I could really use some help here.
Here is what I'm trying to do.
I have an extension, call it "ext 101" that has it's own caller ID set "101".
Let's say one the GV numbers I am using is 555-555-5555
I am using the Groundwire SIP phone (which I have to say is working pretty well)
I would like to select the account "101" and dial. Period. No nothing else.
When it dials out, I want it to see that I am coming from "ext 101" (caller ID) and direct my call through the GV trunk "555-555-5555".
This shouldn't be that hard. Either I am incredibly burnt (I am) or just weary, but I can't seem to make any headway with this most recent hurdle.
SIP phone registers properly with PIAF.
Intra-extension dialing works properly
inbound to 555-555-5555 is properly directed to "ext 101"
My setup:
PIAF Installed Version = 2.0.6.5 under *VIRTUALBOX*
FreePBX Version = 2.11.0.11
Running Asterisk Version = 11.6.0
Asterisk Source Version = 11.6.0
Dahdi Source Version = 2.7.0.2
Libpri Source Version = 1.4.14
IP Address = 192.168.1.198 on eth0
Operating System = CentOS release 6.5 (Final)
Kernel Version = 2.6.32-431.el6.i686 - 32 Bit
Incredible Version = 11.7
ASUS Wireless Router RT-N65R using port forwarding.
My ISP blocks port 5060, so I am using a custom port.
Sorry for the long post, but I'm trying to post the most pertinent info that I can so as not to waste a lot of your time.
Any help and/or pointers you guys can give me would be very much appreciated.
Thanks very much in advance.
